at Edgar Sewter Primary School.
We are very pleased to be able to offer regular forest school sessions for both Key Stage One and Key Stage Two.
The sessions are planned by a fully qualified forest school practitioner and delivered on our school site by local experts.
The children experience a range of activities from creating potions or soup to whittling wood using simple tools.
These opportunities give the children to explore in a new way – outside and practical activities that enable them to discover new skills and interests.
The difference that these sessions make to the children’s confidence and self-esteem is immense, as they discover that they can be successful in new ways and develop new and positive relationships with those around them.
