Library Blog
Hi there and welcome back to the Edgar Sewter School Library. We are the new librarians and we want to welcome you all to the library and what we have going on over the autumn term. We have already celebrated Roald Dahl Day and focused on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; as this is the theme of one of our display boards.
As librarians, we are still finding our feet and getting everything organised. As such we have spent time re-organising our new and old stock, completing displays and planning for upcoming events.
We would like to ask all pupils to please respect our stock and return it correctly – by placing books in the grey box. We would also like to ask every pupil and parent (if you have a free minute) to check at home to see if you have any school library books that are overdue for return. We are having a book amnesty this term to try and get missing stock back. After Christmas we may have to send out letters for those books that are still missing.
We would like to thank Miss Milk for her recent donation of books to our library. We are always willing to accept clean and tidy books to replenish our stock.
Hope to see you soon in the library or book nooks! Happy Reading!
