Standards

There are many expectations to fulfill in Year 3 and Year 4. Below are the standards that the children should meet by the end of the year.

Additional Information

Homework

All children are expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week – and yes we encourage more!  (Please see reading challenge link above)

Maths

The children will be subscribed to Times Tables Rock Stars where they can be become Rock Legends/ Rock Heroes when practising their tables – could they do 5 minutes every week-day?  (It’ll be soooo addictive).

Children may also be given work on My Maths.

Spelling

The children will no longer bring home a spelling sheet. Their spellings will be loaded onto Spelling Shed for them to practise. We will be using the spelling rule throughout their learning during the week.

Your child has received a user name and password to Spelling Shed where they can play games to practise spellings.
